Tripping out at Psywear.com
Now, I am one of those old geezers who’s done everything under the sun and lived to tell the tale. Let’s just say I have had my fair share of intoxicants and intoxicated experiences, and some wonderful memories for the knapsack that is my brain, I’m sure I’ll suffer for it in later life (but who really wants to live an aeon in these troubled times?). Still, something more concrete I can look back on (as in not mere imagination or delusion) are my tattered old tees that even if they were in a wearable state, I’d dare not wear now. Smoking Buddhas, psychedelic vortices, groovy, weird, and rather overpowering designs related to all aspects of past and buried trends, scenes, happenings, what have you. But if i could get away with it I would, which is why I’m tripping on nostalgia when I look at the fractal chaos that is Psywear‘s t-shirt collection. read more
Amsterdamned @ DesignByHumans.com
I have finally had my Eggheads T-Shirt submission accepted at DesignByHumans.com – if you’d like to show some support come and vote for it here.
I had a very friendly exchange of emails with Taylor at DBH who reassured me that my style suited their site’s creative ethos to a tee, essentially the mistake I had made was nothing to do with the quality of my work but rather the placement of the images on their t-shirt template. My advice is the less coverage a design has over the spread of a shirt, the higher you should mount it. I notched my design up a few inches towards the armpits and resubmitted the design with a resounding success. I’ve even completed a second design – see the image below! read more
