Hotlife 10% Discount Code
Mike Cortada, illustrator, designer and founder of Hotlife has kindly given us a permanent 10% discount code to share with all you lucky readers. If you want to save 10% on any of their fantabulous graffiti/tattoo style gear then enter their permanent discount code BUYTEES at the checkout. Another superb addition to our ever expanding discounts section in our sidebar. I think it might be time to consider creating a new directory for all of these, it’s getting that long!
Anyway, in case you’ve forgotten how superb Hotlife’s tees are since our last feature then take a peek at these beauts…
Show You No Mercy Tee
A very upfront design, in crimson, with some real nice biker and military undertones. If you’re more of a lover than a fighter get your GF one :o Sizes XS-2XL and a girls fit too.
Outta Style Tee
A superb graffiti/geek crossover tee, lovely styles going on there, that cheap LCD display is hilarious. If you’re as old school as me you probably played your Tiger Electronics handheld crap through at least one Summer in the school yard :p
Hoplife Tee
Wazzup’ Doc? Nice. Very streetsy, angry bunnies are always good for a laugh, although some pink in the eye would have been a nice evil albino touch. Available in XS-2XL (XL sold out) for just $15, but hurry it’s a reprint as the first batch sold out immediately.
Worldwide Tee
Recognizing the worldwide rep that Hotlife have gathered over the last couple of years, here’s a big, loud and proud shout out to all the fans for supporting the label. Really smart fontage too. $20 in S-2XL.
Amazing, Mike just gets better and better. See much much more here.

50% Off Sale at Seventh.Ink
Last week I wrote a post about Seventh.Ink trying to reach a milestone of 3,000 fans on their Facebook page by Christmas Day. At that point in time they had around 2,955 (including myself), and as luck would have it they actually attained their goal in time! As a result, Seventh.Ink will be throwing a one day 50% Off Sale on New Year’s Day to thank all of their fans for the support. They put together an event on Facebook so you can RSVP and share with your friends. Be sure to visit the Seventh.Ink online store on New Year’s Day to get in on the sale!
Black Friday Sale @ LadyUmbrella
Top ladies fashion tee label LadyUmbrella are holding a Black Friday Sale. Get 30% off plus free shipping worldwide and by the way the first 10 orders will get a free Christmas card! Enter the code blackfriday30 at the checkout to get all the goodies :D
30% Off Black Friday @ Disturbia
It’s that time of year again, and even if us Brits don’t particularly have a Black Friday, I remember we had one once, but that was a run on the stock market, oh and a far nastier Black Wednesday too. All this sounds a little racist to me thinking about it. I watched Malcolm X again last night – if you haven’t then get the gist of it by opening up a dictionary and taking a look at the description for “black”.
Anyway – way off point there – my all-time fave punk tee label Disturbia Clothing are at it again, and by “it” I mean they’re slashing prices with their usual crazed manic enthusiasm. I wouldn’t have it any other way ;)
Black Friday Sale
Yep a whopping 30% off on Saturday (code BLACKFRIDAY) and a still generous 20% off for the whole of Saturday and Sunday (code: BLACKWEEKEND).
Labor Day Weekend Sale @ Simplified Clothing
Yes Simplified Clothing are having a slightly unusual t-shirt sale this weekend, forward thinking, utilising the power of social media, you know all that jazz. Here’s the lowdown – you cab get gree Shipping on all purchases today through until the end of Monday. When the sale has been retweeted 50 times, all items will be $5 off too. If you’d like to join in the fun then you’ll need a Twitter account (obviously) and then retweet the following:
Labor Day Weekend Sale. Free Shipping on All Purchases. Simplified Clothing. #sale http://ow.ly/2yRJt RT? Cheers!
Once they have had 50 RT’s (which they probably will have in minutes once this post goes out) the discounts begin. Here’s a few tees to jog your memory or even introduce you to what Simplified Clothing do so well…

Terrific Glyphs!
I only discovered GlyphCue.com today, they’re the current designers at Ltd. Tee who are selling their amazing Mandala box set for $24.99 If you fancy buying a set yourself you can save yourself a bundle by using the discount code ONEWEEK at the checkout to get a generous 30% of the standard price.
It looks more like a “Mandela” t-shirt than a mandala tee, still it’s a great design, very tribal, almost African, and some nice cuts in the tone and line. Designed by Matt W. Moore who is the co-founder of Glyph Cue and the founder of MWM Graphics based in Portland, Maine. Matt exhibits his artwork in galleries all around the world and works across disciplines, from colourful digital illustrations in his signature “Vectorfunk” style to free-form watercolour paintings and massive aerosol murals… If you fancy knowing more then lap it up at Addicteed’s interview with Matt here.
For those out there scratching their heads and asking “what the hell is a glyph?” you’re in luck. Before I introduce you to the wonders of Glyph Cue’s tees take a look at their simple but informative explanation for the name:
def. GLYPH
– - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – -
– A graphic symbol whose appearance conveys information.
– A symbol for referring to a planet, zodiac sign, or other esoteric concept.
– A visual in the form of a symbolic figure carved or incised in relief.
– A symbolic figure or character, usually a picture, that gives information.
Phew. So you can take your cue from that :p Anyway, all that asides, if you like your t-shirt artwork on the abstract side, with plenty of interesting details to keep eyes glued in your direction then check out these beauties…
12 Hour Truce T-Shirt

This is a weird one, I mean that in a cool way, almost designed to mess with your head, here’s what GC have to say about the design “Within this interlocking 12 point star lies many visual narratives. Two 6 point stars join to create the clock formation. Unfinished Tic-Tac-Toe game says it all.” Screen-printed on a heavyweight cotton tee (they all are), the 12 Hour Truce tshirt is available for $33 in sizes S-XL here.
Dilated Grid T-Shirt

Loving this one, the design is inspired by a Hip Hop breakbeat loop, hovering between the abstract and the literal, this tee has a superb “vibe”. Very mellow indeed. Available in all sizes for $33 here.
Big Bang T-Shirt

Pretty and trippy, if you stare long enough you’ll space out, or so I am told, obviously I can’t, I could never do those Magic Eye posters either. Cool t-shirt available in all sizes at $33 here.
Mosaic Mucho T-Shirt

Another very cool abstract tee, one of the best logo tees I have ever seen, the designer actually makes you “work” to see their branding. Lovely old retro and particularly “Atomic” motifs, gridtastic! Only available in L-XXL sizes for $33 here.
See the rest at www.glyphcue.com. If you fancy getting a limited edition box set from Ltd. Tee then hurry there’s only (as I write) 6 days left for their Mandala shirt!
