50% Off Sale at Seventh.Ink
Last week I wrote a post about Seventh.Ink trying to reach a milestone of 3,000 fans on their Facebook page by Christmas Day. At that point in time they had around 2,955 (including myself), and as luck would have it they actually attained their goal in time! As a result, Seventh.Ink will be throwing a one day 50% Off Sale on New Year’s Day to thank all of their fans for the support. They put together an event on Facebook so you can RSVP and share with your friends. Be sure to visit the Seventh.Ink online store on New Year’s Day to get in on the sale!
Sneak Peak At Seventh Ink’s Fall Collection
Here’s a real quickie for you, my mate at 7th Ink Matthew Johnson, has sent me over some sneak preview pics from their blog at FuryShirts.com which should give you a clue to the quality and creepy splendour of their Autumn/Fall Collection simply entitled “The Haunted Collection”. A little bit scary but a lot of fun too, these are sure to fly off the shelves like a Poltergeist ;) This is just the first series in the collection and although the t-shirts won’t be limited as such, they will run out and there will be a delay of at least a month for the next batch. So if you fancy something a little more spooky for the end of the Summer do keep your eyes peeled over their way.

Shark Week Sale
It’s the Shark Week Sale at Seventh.Ink, get 20% off any and all products at their store at www.furyshirts.com until Sunday the 8th. Just use their promo code “sharkweek”at the checkout. If you’re scratching your head wondering what the hell Shark Week is, then don’t worry, I was in exactly the same predicament a minute ago, it seems it’s an American TV tradition, which sounds rather scary to me. Not so much the idea of vegging out in front of the TV and watching sharks as much as having a week dedicated to anything on TV at the height of summer. This sounds like viral marketing gone mad, I know one thing, the Brits have too much weather to ever consider gawping at the boob tube when the sun is out, it’s shirts off, down the beach and gawping at real boobs on the beach for most red-blooded British males (except for goths and emos). The nearest we get to a TV event is Big Brother, but thankfully that’s finishing this year :p
2010 Limited Edition Logo Tee
Standing Room Only at Seventh.Ink
Since our review Seventh.Ink at FuryShirts.com have been busy working on their latest limited edition tee, The Last One Standing features the king of all snowmen which seems rather apt considering we’re fast approaching Winter. This is certainly a cool shirt in more ways than one, printed on teal American Apparel, there will only be a 100 of these on offer and is available at a bargain $15.99 on pre-order until the 2nd of December.
Here’s what Seventh.Ink have to say about their newest addition to the collection:-
“Remember playing King of the Hill during the winter as a child? There could only be one left standing! This shirt harkens back to the glory days and reawakens the inner child in us all.” read more
Hell Hath No Fury Like Seventh.Ink
Now before you literally start scratching a proverbial hole in your head with confusion, yes the brand is Seventh.Ink and yes their domain name is FuryShirts.com – if you really want to know the potted history behind this decision read their interview by our good friends at T-ShirtMagazineOnline.com. In short it’s catchy. However I know that most of you would rather see the tees on offer, which are predominantly more on the graphic design side rather than illustrated on the whole so let’s get down to business.
Some seem a little too reminiscent of the Arsenal Vector Collection at GoMedia.us for my liking, who personally I’d say do as much damage as they do good for the t-shirt industry. The reason being that even graphic elements can lose their visual currency over the long term, as they say “familiarity breeds contempt”, although I wouldn’t go that far, I’d always advise t-shirt designers to merely use these vector packs for inspiration and never paste vectors straight from the DVD.
Still judging by their latest release and others of a similar ilk, strong character-based designs with a sideline of puns for good measure, pulling back from the abstracts, and focusing more on artistic / humour shirts which they do so well, I have a feeling in my bones that 7th Ink are on the verge of leaping into the big league …if they keep this up. So here are my top pick of t-shirts at Seventh Ink, and what’s more, some good reasons why:-
