30% Off Black Friday @ Disturbia
It’s that time of year again, and even if us Brits don’t particularly have a Black Friday, I remember we had one once, but that was a run on the stock market, oh and a far nastier Black Wednesday too. All this sounds a little racist to me thinking about it. I watched Malcolm X again last night – if you haven’t then get the gist of it by opening up a dictionary and taking a look at the description for “black”.
Anyway – way off point there – my all-time fave punk tee label Disturbia Clothing are at it again, and by “it” I mean they’re slashing prices with their usual crazed manic enthusiasm. I wouldn’t have it any other way ;)
Black Friday Sale
Yep a whopping 30% off on Saturday (code BLACKFRIDAY) and a still generous 20% off for the whole of Saturday and Sunday (code: BLACKWEEKEND).
New Tees At Disturbia
Perhaps my favourite indie British t-shirt label has just released its Autumn/Winter collection of tees and yet again there are a few blinders on offer. If you love your colours day-glo and your illustration beautiful but gory, then you have to check out the new designs at Disturbia Clothing. They’ve even redesigned the whole site (yet again), I loved the old Marshall Amp style theme they had going on there but I have to admit their new logo is so crazy, so insane, I am more than duly placated on the shift in branding.
I’ve noticed I still haven’t wangled a permanent voucher code off these guys for our discounts section, I asked them a year or so ago but things were looking to tight at the time. Still, they seem to be on the up and up so fingers crossed I can get you lucky lucky people some savings real soon! In the meantime have a slaver over these Gothic beauties, all these tees are available in all sizes for guys and girls at £22 each… gore was never as beautiful as it is at Disturbia!
Vague Tee
If a blog is a marriage then I’m a bad husband, I know I neglect the girls here and should feature more tees for them, I suppose asides being a typical guy it comes down to all the choice women have in fashion blogs compared to guys. Still… could do better. Which is why I wanted to start off by featuring Disturbia’s Vague Tee. Yes it’s available for guys as well, but I predict this will be their biggest seller yet as a girl’s tee, it’s got it all, fashion, glamour, cynicism, and a general despair at the media and its divisive methods of making them feel dowdy with the aid of anorexics and computer magic.
Sirens Tee
Wowzers. Here are three babes, most likely belonging to the undead persuasion, so dutifully and intricately drawn it almost seems a shame to throw it in the wash. There are tees I wear to death, one of them happens to be a Disturbia t-shirt, this could well be another. Ouch, so good it hurts. Amazingly designed, the Sirens Tee is available for men and women at £22 each.
Zoltar Tee
Ever since seeing the cornball comedy launchpad for Tom Hanks career, the prospect of finding a Zoltar Machine like the one that’s featured in the movie ‘Big’ has haunted me. It’s probably the best arcade machine that was ever made, so creepy, so pointless. If I had so much money I didn’t need worry about the bills I’d hook up one of these to a stock market picks site and make a fortune. Of course if I could invent one that could promise eternal youth that would probably pull in a little more profit :p Cool as ****, as usual Disturbia have excelled themselves and they were already doing that before. This tee rocks… it rocks hard. Get it for girls and guys for £22 each in all sizes.

New Season @ Disturbia
Highly creative, highly satanic in certain circumstances, highly amusing, intensely trawling the depths of depravity and human dysfunction in the name of t-shirt design, Disturbia Clothing have done it again, and then some, with their latest mind blowing collection of t shirts. I have to admit I am a big big fan of Disturbia’s work, they’ve created one of my all time favourite tees so far, Mary which is one shirt I most definitely wear with pride, alongside Rasputin which again is sublime, they’ve now managed to add two more to the list in the form of their new Geisha and Kali tees. I have to find out more about the artist behind these four tees sometime, they deserve a lot more exposure! Expect mind-bending detail and an explosion of precise illustration from Disturbia’s latest tees, I would really like to see a whole lot more in exactly the same vein as these classics. The combination of history, religion and myth delivered in what can only be described as superlative illustration really pushes the design envelope as far as t-shirt art is concerned.
So, let’s take a peek at the horrifying excellence on offer… shake off the woolly hat and gloves, slip off that thick sweater and welcome in an early Spring and Summer with Disturbia Clothing. read more

Prepare To Meet The All New Disturbia
Just had a rather exciting email from Frank at Disturbia Clothing. They’ve redesigned their whole site and let me assure you it’s dead snazzy, the store is encased by a rather meaty looking bass amp in true Marshall style. Even better it’s faster to load and the product images are bigger than ever! What’s more they’ve just released their latest Autumn/Winter Collection for 2009 and all I can say is wowzers – there are a few new tees there to die for – I mean not literally, you can always buy them, but then again I wouldn’t be surprised if you bump into a zombie punk or two at the check out.
Let’s just say that something very big has been happening at Disturbia, there might be experimental drugs in the water supply, or perhaps they’ve tortured their artists until they’ve excelled beyond everyone’s expectations, but things have evolved incredibly fast since I last wrote about this label. I have already found a couple of instant classics there that will blow your t-shirt craving mind. Wait a minute. Ssshh. I can hear a disturbance outside. Yep it’s those damn zombies again. Okay when they burst in make sure to shoot them in the head, if you don’t they’ll eat your brains. In the meantime let’s drool over some Disturbia newbies to their personal asylum of macabre and appocalyptic vision. In other words let’s look at two of their new tees :/ read more
Psyched Tees From Disturbia Clothing
First off I’m back, I’ve been to the back and beyond, I’m sunburned and peeling all over but all in all I feel fresh as a daisy so let’s get down to business and lay Disturbia Clothing on the Buy Tees couch and see what makes them and their legion of fans tick. If you’re already familiar with this edgy Brit label then you’re in good company. Check out this documentary of The Prodigy’s latest tour and you just might see Liam sporting one of their best-sellers, their Disco t-shirt.
I always feel right at home, culturally speaking, when I visit their site, everything from their products to the web design to their constantly updated left field blog shimmer with a slightly tongue-in-cheek British fervour for the hey days of punk. Their style spills right out onto their highly flamboyant illustrated t-shirt prints which are all highly recognisable as unique yet strangely familiar iconic pieces that make up their collection. Their ideas are their tour de force, some perhaps more obvious than others, but in a good way, in the way you might think ‘damn, I could have thought of that’ except you know you didn’t, and if you ever did, you know you’d never got around to creating them, because if you had I’d most likely be writing about your label right now :p
Their reputation has spread far and wide into the world of independent fashion retailing with 17 online stockists and what I guess must be another hundred or more stores selling their unique wares around the world. So if you like what you see then there’s no excuses when it comes to tracking down any of their infectiously irrational tees, hoodies and accessories (if you don’t order direct), besides which they have a handy mailing list so you can keep up to date with all their latest offerings no matter what corner of the world you may reside. So without further a due, rip a few holes in your best pair of jeans, stick a safety pin through your nose, kick the TV Screen, deface any image of royalty you may have lying around and get ready to enter the minds of Disturbia. read more
