David After Dentist T-Shirt
Probably one of the most famous videos on Youtube has to be “David After Dentist” where the then 7 year old boy David DeVore Jr. was filmed by his father after leaving the dentists. It’s had nearly 65 million views so far and David who on the drive home asks “Is This Real Life?” has become something of an Internet craze in itself. The catchphrase has even hit the small screen – the Devores family have already appeared on many shows including the Today Show, Tyra Banks Show and The O’Reilly Factor. David DeVore Sr. has decided to sell t-shirts to celebrate the hilarious video, and for those who might think he’s just cashing in the family have already raised $6000 for the charity Operation Smile which provides cleft lip and palette surgery for over 200,000 children in over 50 countries so far.
Before you all start hailing the Devores as saints, the bulk of the money doesn’t go to charity, however it will go towards the school and college education of their two sons, which when you think about it is fair enough seeing as they’ve both provided an enormous amount of entertainment for millions of Youtube fans. Still, I suppose you could argue for and against, though I have no qualms. What’s more one of the t-shirts on offer is actually rather cool, a great comic style and at a good price too.

“3F” T-Shirt by Leon Verres
Leon Verres, haute couture designer famous for his credit card dresses amongst other outrageous creations is taking on the hoi poloi of the fashion world with his 3F T-Shirt (a featured in the Huffington Post) which is out now and for sale at €49/$60 (men sizes S-XXL and women XS-XL with free worldwide shipping) made in Italy with the highly controversial slogan “F*ck Vogue F*ck Anna F*ck You”. Definitely one for the fashionistas I’d say! The high prices may put off some however the profits will be entirely donated to the children’s charity I Stand For Children. If you want to know a little more behind the story read this press release from the designer:
‘Anna Wintour and her Vogue have been taken the fashionistas for fools for many years. She presents perfectly styled Hollywood stars in luxurious outfits and declares that to be the new trend. Besides that I do not know anyone with common sense who considers such extravagantly styled fashion-zombies attractive, with its costly produced pseudo trends the Vogue only attends on an elitist minority of the fashion world, which is out of touch with reality and dieing out. To sum it up. The American Vogue has become obsolete as style authority long ago! The time has come for Anna Wintour to accept this and to let the true critics do their work. The true fashionistas on this planet – this means the 99% of the fashion consumers who do not read the Vogue – prefer to support the army of fashion bloggers, which focuses on what real people in real life wear on the streets instead of showing over-stylized fashion photo series with extremely thin models.
Fashion bloggers are the new kings of the world of fashion and I am one of their biggest supporters. It gives me a good feeling to know that I – as one of the very small number of designers who are independent of industry and media – am able to afford to have the Stalin on stilettos as an enemy. After all I am not alone on the mined catwalk. Besides my almost 3 million registered customers, who form the so-called “Legion Verres“, each day more and more people join me. Furthermore the demand for the “3F” T-shirt exceeds all of my expectations. This makes me unutterably pride and happy, because the total revenue for the T-shirts will inure to the benefit of my child relief project “I stand for children’.
As stated by Leon… “Before it´s in Vogue it´s Sold Out!“ Leon Verres’ ultra-trendy 3F T-shirt is finally for sale at www.leonverres.com/shop/index.php.

I’m not quite sure what a PsnobÆ is but I’m guessing it might be short for ‘pretentious snob’, although the latest offering from the popular women’s clothing label at Psnob.com. Purchase a tee for $25.00 and a portion of the sale goes to Hands on Atlanta’s Gusto event, “A Taste for Volunteering”, September 5, 2008.
