Brimming with Yank clichés of London like the word ‘shoppe’ which hasn’t been used in London for a few hundred years and a guy in a top hat reading a newspaper which is more suited for Newmarket or Aintree racetracks than the capital, the design is still rather sweet.

Still, I’m sure Johnny will see how much we’ve all moved on since Charles Dickens wrote ‘A Christmas Carol’ when he steps ashore this septic sceptered isle of ours. Johnny, just a warning, don’t give beggars less than a quid (if anything) or they will shout abuse as they set their rabid dogs on you, apologise for George ‘W.M.D’ Bush before Obama ‘bamming strangers into a brief coma,  and don’t cite Dick Van Dyke as your favourite actor or someone will surely kick you in the nuts. I love Taxi Driver so much, it’s the only time I can stand a performance by that awful “Can do!” woman Cybill Shepherd. I love the perspective in this one too, a perfect Bickle pose. Kalma Tee

Kalma refers to the Finnish goddess of death rather than the Islamic prayer – just in case someone has a Fatwah brewing. Lovely detail as usual, gore has never looked as beautiful. Available as tees and vees for guys and girls.

Bad Vibrations Tee

If you’re an old tripper like me and ever had the misfortune to be bombarded by Pet Sounds just as you’re peaking then you will definitely relate to this tee. If not, take my word for it, as far as psychedelic sound goes The Beach Boys are more like heroin than heroes, unless of course you’re straight as a die. I love the style of Bad Vibrations, it’s something of a departure from the wild in-house style at Disturbia, but it works, for sure. You can go surfing in sorrow with this tee, no vests this time.

Symphony For The Devil Tee

Beethoven is spending eternity scrawling ditties for Diablo, don’t ask why, I have no idea, I’d have thought Wagner had more to answer for. But if you’re into your dead classical composers, this one’s a great start ;)

Wolves Tee

So good it hurts, the illustration is a killer, perhaps the best yet from Disturbia, incredible colour and tonal shading make this one worthy of a major hardback graphic novel cover. Hope to see more like this for the future. Dead sexy too! Only for the girls this time, as vests and tees in sizes S-XL.

Now, if you’re going to get out of your bonce put some Hendrix on, it’s honestly the only way to go, this guy played guitar like most people orgasm. If you have a friend that can’t play guitar but insists you should listen sit them down with Are You Experienced and walk away. They should either improve or give up by the next morning… lol. Tees for the girls and tees/vees for the guys.

Float On Tee

Cute, probably not the strongest design of the three but the illustration has been given something of a gentle touch, which I’m sure will appeal to girls. Reminds me a little of movies like E.T and Le Ballon Rouge. I’d scrap the text, or at least improve the typography, it looks like a generic handwriting font. Something that “rises before the eyes” would make more sense, like steam perhaps, although steam isn’t known for either being easy to write with or draw lol. Still nice, a nice design, a warm feeling tee with a night time slant by one of Confound’s founders Dean Claydon from Essex who  usually specialises web based design but dabbles with illustration from time to time too! Shark Bite Tee

It’s the classic JAWS get out clause, if you’ve got a killer shark on your tail throw something explosive or at the very least combustible in its mouth and shoot! Not sure if dynamite functions as well when its wet but the composition is strong and the timer is a nice touch. I’d have liked to have seen the tail on the back of this tee, but that’s a little tricky for a new label. Still am I the only one who still likes all-over printing? Nevertheless a bold design by Sarah Yu London based illustrator, character and graphic designer, the girl definitely has talent, look at those creepy eyes and perspective of the nose and teeth, cool. Howling Wolf Tee

This is their best-seller and you can tell, it’s a really strong design, but lightly illustrated to appeal to girls and guys, it’s rare to find greys in a t-shirt print these days but it works. Moody but not too moody, the wolf really has some character. Designed by Holly Ringsell a talented young illustrator and photographer from the South East of England. I’m Being Followed T-Shirt

A very British tee and one that made me laugh. Stephen Fry is probably one of if not the most popular Brit at Twitter, and it’s all down to the plain and simple fact that he’s a mainstay of our culture, there are probably more of fans of his wry sense of humour and highly intelligent witticisms than for the royal family, however unintentionally funny they may appear. Joke. The fact is Britain loves the guy, long may he reign. If you are being followed by Stephen you deserve some kind of prize, perhaps this t-shirt for instance? A design so simple it verges on the brink of abstract, the Sorry T-Shirt features a Stormtrooper (The Star Wars kind not the Nazi type) with a pink (for some reason beyond me) tear rolling down its cheek. It should be corny, but it’s not, it’s very very cool. I suppose it comes down to taste, some people hate Pop Art, Andy Warhol in particular, or the 80s conceptual scene with characters like Jeff Koons, but I don’t, I love it, and this tee belongs on a wall in a gallery… and on my back. Unfortunately it’s all sold out, so we’re all sorry now :/

I’ve died and gone to t-shirt heaven. I have to admit it, this t-shirt, right now, is my all-time favourite. I reminds me of all those Marvel Comics I used to read again and again as a kid, back in the 70′s when you’d learn everything there was to know about sex, intoxication, corruption, altered states, multiple universes, from comics… it was all there. Crazy hippies on acid locked up in cellars chained to the drawing board whilst catching B-Movie horror flicks through a stoned gaze. If you love your gore psychedelic then you can’t do much better than Kali, no in fact you can’t, this, for now is the peak of man’s achievements heh. No seriously though, this is the sort of illustration that breathes life into the past, in this case the Hindu Goddess Kali who was known, in her earliest incarnation, as an annihilator of all that is Man. If you want to beat the rush (good luck) you should be able to grab this amazing shirt in all sizes for men and women for £20.

Geisha T Shirt

I’m not sure how much business this Geisha gets, she could do with a little moisturiser. Joke. It’s a zombie Geisha of course, Disturbia do like their zombies, and this has to be one of their best yet. Again absolutely amazing artwork from the t-shirt maestros of punk/horror design, the details on this one are once more fanatical to say the least. Right down to the veins on the hand. Love the blood logo on the blade, and am desperately intrigued to know what the Chinese text says, probably a menu of some diabolical invention, Earl Grey with a dash of broken glass and weedkiller or exploding chopsticks perhaps? The crazy, beautiful, astounding Geisha T Shirt is available for men and women in all sizes for £20.

Fear and Loathing T Shirt

Wow oh wow oh wow. If you’ve ever read Hunter S. Thompson’s book or seen the movie, or even both like me, I am sure you were hooked by the drug fiction classic that is Fear and Loathing. Disturbia offer up their own personal interpretation and I have to hand it to them they’ve done it justice. I can’t really be objective about this shirt as I just love everything associated with F and L, at one point I even thought of dragging Chris to Vegas, but then decided against lugging a suitcase of drugs around one casino to the next :p No, not really a story you’d want to recreate, except maybe as a t-shirt, which brings me neatly on to Disturbia’s Fear and Loathing t-shirt on offer in all sizes for men and women at £20. The colours are stunning, the illustration perfectly conjures up the drug addled psychosis of the stories two protagonists Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo. The funny thing is I am sure supremo crazy (but interesting) Brit David Icke stole the idea, after all he’s always accusing everyone in the media and government of being lizards.

Baphomet T Shirt

Baphomet is a Sabbatic goat, but don’t hold that against him/her whatever it is, it’s got a bong on the go so just play it friendly like ;) One for the stoner and Satanists, not sure how many are both, but there’s got to be a market out there for this trippy excursion into the darker side of t-shirt design. Whatever you do don’t get the Ouija board out lol. Get the Baphomet tee for men and women in all sizes for £20.
