The T-Shirt Toolbar has died, bow your heads in a minutes silence for the death of a good idea, overcome by the useless service offered by Conduit.com

Ah well it was fun whilst it lasted, I want to thank everyone who tried out the toolbar, contributed links, offered advice, and wrote about the venture. Perhaps the experience has brought a few of us closer together, even if not exactly in the way I had intended. Let’s all take a minute’s silence for the short and uneventful life of The T-Shirt Toolbar…

My apologies to all for the time and effort wasted, there are some very patient and co-operative people out there in the t-shirt world, and I know, I owe you. If you are a tee mad toolbar wizard with an urge to take this further, expect a heap of promotion from Buy Tees in the future!

For the nostalgia’s sake I’ve kept most of the original post below, shame though, it could’ve been great with the right software.

If you’re one of the many thousands of t-shirt fans, t-shirt designers, t-shirt store owners or manufacturers who’d like to take less time searching and more time browsing t-shirt related links of all kinds, then why not try installing The T-Shirt Toolbar for free! (IE Browsers – Please Read Advice Below!)

There are two browser versions available, one for Firefox and another for Internet Explorer. You’ll find plenty of links to all the latest t-shirt news and reviews from tons of the top t-shirt sites on the net. There are links to reviews, stores, suppliers and even a t-shirt chatroom.

If you have any suggestions, additions, relevant links, graphics and so on for the toolbar email them here and if approved they’ll be added as soon as possible. All previously installed toolbars will automatically update.

Right now there are 200+ t-shirt news headlines, and a wide selection of t-shirt blogs, fulfilment sites, printers, forums and so forth.

What would be marvellous is if the t-shirt community could come together and spread the word about the toolbar. If enough install it this could become an invaluable resource for t-shirt fans and designers alike. Especially considering that everyone who installs it will be able to chat together and offer advice or simply make friends.

Please uncheck the middle option if you don’t want your homepage changed! We’ve received a few complaints about this and thought we’d better mention it. Hopefully we can track down some software to build our own fully independent toolbar from scratch in the future and then we can take this much further and offer more customised gadgets such as a Flickr application for a T-shirt Toolbar (programmer needed!).

Oaks from acorns as they say. Give it a try, it’s easy to uninstall if it’s not your thing, the design has been kept as plain as possible so as not to clutter your browser.
