Join Buy Tees as a T-shirt Reviewer!

If you’re a regular reader of Buy Tees you’ll know what we like, in fact love, and that’s great t-shirts! We never feature Cafepress, Spreadshirt or any other P.O.D sites as there are plenty of blogs out there that do that already. Besides the quality of design you’ll find at most indie labels and brands is nearly always far superior! We love to help indie t-shirt designers get a foot in the door of the t-shirt industry, those who’ve already made a name for themselves deserve celebrating too. We review all the best in t-shirt communities and do regular updates of past labels we review in exchange for a prominent back link on their sites. This is how we roll.

Buy Tees prides itself on offering far more than the usual “pic and link” reviews at most t-shirt reviews blogs out there. In fact before Buy Tees started up you’d hardly read more than a sentence at most of our competitors blogs. If the designer, label or brand is new to us we like to offer our readers a full background story on them, we open their eyes to the processes involved in the industry, critique both the site and product designs, we do the lot. That’s why we need more contributors, Paul Baines, UK urban artist has invested an incredible amount of time, effort and skill in making Buy Tees the foremost t-shirt critic blog on the net. But good things never last forever, even though we have had offers of up to $10k for the blog and the vast and informative archive of posts, we just couldn’t let it die, not with all the protests we received by email from our many many loyal readers. Paul cannot afford to continue investing so much time into Buy Tees, which is of course understandable being a busy artist.

So here’s our solution, we are opening the doors for a limited time and inviting avid t-shirt fans with no vested interest in the industry (i.e not t-shirt designers or companies with t-shirts to sell) to come and write for Buy Tees. After 4 trial posts which Paul will edit and show you the ropes in the Buy Tees style, you will become an official Buy Tees author and will be granted a footer link in all your future posts which can point to your own blog or site giving you added link love and publicity for other projects!

So here’s a quick roundup…

1) No self-promotion of any form

2) Write 4 x Minimum 300 word t-shirt/brand/designer reviews to qualify as permanent author.

3) Free link love if you qualify – a footer link will point to your blog after your 4th post if accepted!
