Shark Week Sale
It’s the Shark Week Sale at Seventh.Ink, get 20% off any and all products at their store at www.furyshirts.com until Sunday the 8th. Just use their promo code “sharkweek”at the checkout. If you’re scratching your head wondering what the hell Shark Week is, then don’t worry, I was in exactly the same predicament a minute ago, it seems it’s an American TV tradition, which sounds rather scary to me. Not so much the idea of vegging out in front of the TV and watching sharks as much as having a week dedicated to anything on TV at the height of summer. This sounds like viral marketing gone mad, I know one thing, the Brits have too much weather to ever consider gawping at the boob tube when the sun is out, it’s shirts off, down the beach and gawping at real boobs on the beach for most red-blooded British males (except for goths and emos). The nearest we get to a TV event is Big Brother, but thankfully that’s finishing this year :p

Scribtee T-Shirt Sale
Scribtee has launched its big SUMMER SALE 2010. Until July 26. – 2010 they’re offering 25% off all t-shirts that are not already in the sale. Since launching Scribtee in October 2007 they have collected a grand total of 69 designer t-shirts in their collection, and now all of them have been reduced!
Scribtee is the designer t-shirt branch of Shirtcity.com. The Scribtee Design Contest offers 400 EUR / Dollars every month for the best participating designs. The winning design ist then printed (limited units) on high quality American Apparel t-shirts and promoted Scribtee.com.
Animal Farm Tees
Brand new label Animal Farm Tees are determined to make their mark in the industry, they’ve a whopping 250 tees on offer already, and although some are more original than others, you’re sure to find something to tickle your funny bone. To start off they’ve made the right move in offering a permanent discount to Buy Tees’ readers, their voucher code has been added to our permanent t-shirt discount section, quote “BUYTEES” at their checkout for a 10% discount! They’ve set up their own blog and feature new designs modelled by fans and friends, and with free S/H for the USA and flat rates (no matter how many tees you order) worldwide they’re determined to crack the international market too. You can pick between the cheapest option of a unisex tee to a higher quality American Apparel fine jersey tee for men and women, plus sweats and hoodies for every design.
Don’t expect beautifully illustrative designs, it’s more about the humour for Animal Farm Tees, still I’ve found a few that should appeal to many of you out there. Personally I’d clear out half the collection, there are too many generic funny tees out there right now, it’s originality and humour that’s going to launch this label ahead of the curve. If I was running the show I’d look online and each and every design that’s on offer somewhere else I’d strike off the books, still check these out, AFT definitely has a lot of promise!

Save Money On Tees
How to save money whilst buying t-shirts
T-shirts are a main staple of many people’s wardrobes, no matter what your style is. You can wear them by themselves, under layers, on top of layers, with jeans, trousers, skirts or shorts- the possibilities are endless. A t-shirt can say a lot about your personality- what you believe in, what type of music you like and what your style is saying about you. T-shirts come in all shapes and sizes and vary largely in cost. But how do you get the best tees out there without breaking the bank? Here are a few tips from moneysupermarket.com…
Customise
This will really bring out your creative side and ensure that you will be the only person on the planet to don that t-shirt. You can buy plain t-shirts for relatively cheap, so stock up on a few which have no design. Find a style that you know suits you, and then get to work. If you’re handy with a sewing machine or good at drawing you can create a unique design which is sure to be original. Head down to your local haberdashery and pick up some ribbon, buttons, sequins and other fabrics- which won’t be too expensive if you just buy what you need for your design. Then decorate the plain tee in whatever fashion you like- and hey presto, your own customised t-shirt.
Use vouchers
If you’ve seen a t-shirt that you simply must have, but it’s a tad too expensive, do a search online for any t-shirt voucher codes that may be available to get you a discount off the price. Several retailers offer discounts on their products to lure people onto their website or into their shops as the vouchers market is growing fiercely. Search for either the brand of the t-shirt or the actual retailer that sells it and you could bag yourself a good percentage off the original price, and could even get a discount on the sale price. Never buy a t-shirt again without seeing if you can save a little money on it first!
Rummage in charity shops
If you’re after original t-shirt that not many people have, it may be worth having a forage through some charity and vintage shops and see if you can bag a bargain. You’re likely to get the t-shirt for less than you would if you bought it first hand, and the majority of charity shops only sell quality items- so don’t think that you’ll only come across battered and old looking stuff.
Take advantage of BOGOFS
If you’re after a few t-shirts- maybe you’re going on holiday or you’re reinventing your wardrobe- then take advantage of the buy one get one free offers or buy 2 or more for a discounted price. This will ensure that you have a good stock of t-shirts in your wardrobe and it saves you from buying them separately which would be more expensive.
Enter competitions
If you’re a social networking lover then you’ll have noticed that there are constantly competitions being held on sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Be sure to ‘follow’ or ‘like’ your favourite t-shirt retailers or favourite bands or film companies and there will be sure to be some t-shirt comps. Usually all you have to do is ‘retweet’ or ‘share’ their posts to enter and you could grab yourself a free t-shirt.

Concrete Hermit Summer Sale
My pals at Concrete Hermit are having a massive summer clear out on just about everything at their store, including (of course) a fine selection of art tees by top artists as well as plenty of “Artkips” which can include anything from signed artist prints from big names like Shepard Fairey, to exclusive tees and one even includes a bag of coffee lol. I’ve featured almost all of their shirts at one time or another so regular readers at Buy Tees should recognise most of these…
Most of the tees have been reduced by 25% so if there’s anything you’ve missed in CH’s past collections now would probably be the time to buy!
I had a scout around whilst I was there and found this tee by Koichiro Tagaki, cute, weird, cool… (even if it is spelled wrong lol - Don’t they mean ‘Lightning’?)
