We’ve posted about Teextile t-shirt contest community a few times here at Buy Tees. For those who have been having problems with the site, just to let you know they have just relaunched with a new and improved version of the site called Teextile 2.0. This isn’t just a glossy redesign, Teextile have fundamentally changed the way they operate, here’s how:
The biggest change many of you might will notice (and maybe slightly confused with), is the way the shop works now. Teextile are no longer offering a new series of 5 shirts every week, but we will continually sell 4 shirts, releasing a minimum of 1 new shirt a week which would replace the design with the lowest sales… so some designs may be up for longer than a week, while others might only be up for 2 days, with our classic countdown showing up on its last day for sale.
As they continue to grow, they will begin to feature more than 4 designs in the future, but for now 4 is a good number to test things out. This new shop system will also allow them to feature photography, so keep an eye out for that pretty soon.
It must be stated that this is technically a beta launch, they still have some problems to work out and some shirts to send out, so they we won’t officially be launching till Monday 1st February, once they’ve ironed out all of the kinks in the system. So if your looking for an update on your order, fill out your info on their contact page and you will be given a tracking number and the opportunity to see if your order has already been shipped out.

The Textile folks are absolute snakes. DO NOT BUY from them. There are *plenty* of other great shirt companies out there, don’t waste your time with this “business.” Don’t take my word for it, check out the San Diego Better Business Bureau website (of which teextile is not a member, of course) and see how many complaints have been logged against them.
We have contacted them in order to get some answers, they haven’t replied but if we don’t hear any news soon we will write a post on them criticising their behaviour.
Thanks for sticking up for the little guy Buy Tees! I of course know you are one of the few t-shirt reviews blogs that doesn’t stuff your reviews with affiliate links and so you make nothing from writing about Teextile. Thanks for contacting them and looking forward to the post either way!

Thanks to Buy-Tees. Perhaps they’ll respond to you? One can only hope. At the end of the day $7 is not the end of the world- I just want to know that others know they’re throwing it down the drain.
Could be Ron, will wait a while and see how bad things get before I write a full blown post and slate these guys. They’ve written an email to me asking me not to, I have given them the benefit of the doubt for now, but if we get any more complaints or past complaints like yours aren’t sorted in the next few weeks let me know and I will do the damage.
Hi Dahammer, they’ve replied because they fear a negative post. Rather than completely ruin their business I thought I’d wait and see if you all get your refunds/shirts first!
I ordered 1 T-shirt 2 weeks ago and never received yet. My order # does not work on the web page so I tried emailing everyday. They have yet to answer. I did some research and saw that the last complaint on BBB was on Feb 23, 2010. With so many complaints, they need to be exposed immediately. If you’ve been ripped off…..even for $7, please take the time to file on bbb.org
Don’t bother emailing them at info@teextile.com or orders@teextile.com……you’ll get a return email “failure to send”. If that’s not fishy enough…..I don’t know what it? Teextile is really a bogus company taking our money for FREE! It’s not fair for us hard working customers.

I ordered a shirt on 6/21/2010 and my credit card was charged on that same day for the amount of 15.00
The design i ordered was a black shirt with a skull that had the red ring of death from the xbox 360 in the eye.
It is now 7/29/2010 and no shirt. Sent numerous emails withoutr a reply and filled a report to the BBB.
So sad.
Sorry to hear that Cesar, I was hoping due to a recent positive comment that things might finally be turning round. Obviously not. The BBB seem to have no power over Teextile which is also a top complaint here. Thanks for the comment.
