Haitian Earthquake T-Shirt Relief ProjectMark Coudray, owner of the T-shirt printers business Coudray Serigraphics has partnered with other printers around the USA, in a cause to raise $10 million relief for Haiti. The newly-formed Haitian Earthquake T-Shirt Relief Project has set up a web site where the shirt, printed with an American flag and eagle is featured. Organizers aim to produce 1 million shirts, each of which can be purchased individually for $15. However, Coudray is still trying to identify local USA businesses who want to be listed as sponsors on the back of the shirts. He is also seeking partnerships with local non-profit and service groups to help sell the T-shirts and donate the money to the Haiti relief efforts. All net proceeds from shirt sales will go to Haitian relief efforts. If you’d like to help their efforts visit them at www.haitishirtproject.com

If you offer or know of any other sites, brands or designers offering Haiti Earthquake Relief t-shirts and are donating a generous proportion (at least) of the proceeds leave a comment and we’ll add them to the official List of Haiti Relief Charity T-shirts.

We have well over 200 companies now signed up for the Haiti Shirt Project. You can visit http://haitishirtproject.com to sign up as a printer or as an organization. We are getting tons of local and national media on this and hundreds of local fundraising events are starting next week. This is an organized effort to raise at $10,000,000 for charities chosen at the local level. At the rate this is growing, it will be much, much more There is enough unused production capacity in the US right now to generate one billion dollars. Go to the site and find out more information. Anybody can participate. The response has been overwhelming.

Thanks for the post on the Haiti Shirt Project. We have over 300 local printers on board now and this is exploding. We originally were trying to sell 1,000,000 shirts, but this is becoming much, much bigger. MSNBC picked up the local NBC story and we were swamped with 300 emails on Tuesday alone. Go to HaitiShirtProject.com and check it out. Sign Up to get more info and be part of this. I have no idea of how big this is going to go, but we have 5 million shirts in reserve when this goes viral. Corporations and businesses are matching what is raised locally. The highest we have seen so far is $10 or every dollar raised. For 200 shirts this means $20,000 in usable donations that are IMMEDIATELY available to the Charity. The NBC crew that filmed on Monday said on a scale of 1-10 this was a 10+ story. We’re putting hundreds of Americans back to work and Benefiting the people of Haiti in a huge way.
