High Arcane Chicanery at Beautiful/Decay
September 16, 2009
Beautiful/Decay have just made their latest offering to the dark lords of the t-shirt dimension, placed upon the designer’s altar this month is their Wizard Tattoo tee. Designed by a BD favourite Kyle Thomas, LA based designer with a history of corporate projects under his belt, muralist, and devout graffiti fan – this is another of his stream of consciousness illustrated tomes for t-shirts, featuring everything any self-respecting devil worshipping, head banging fifth horseman or horsewoman could want from their tee collection. So put down your ouija board for a minute, let the sacrificial goat take one last stroll around the graveyard and direct your mystical gaze towards this…
Wizard Tattoo Tee

It’s dark, it’s demonic, it’s something rather reminiscent of a 15th Century European woodcut around the time of the plague, it’s none other than the Wizard Tattoo tee. Just about everything from your worst nightmares are included in this one, imagine a set of Aleister Crowley Tarot cards on a bad trip – plenty of monsters and ghouls to send shivers down your spines, plus a healthy array of blunt weapons and blades to keep you on your toes. The cosmos is reordering as we speak, sacrifices are being made, and the souls of generations to come will look back in fear at all of those worthy enough to don this dark and macabre apparel from hell. I particularly like the skeleton brandishing a pair of scissors, now there’s a true example of size zero fashion, and I maybe simply be under the beguiling influence of this evil tee, but I am sure I’ve spotted the European flag in the distance. Oh well, there goes the fate of the world as we know it.
You can pick up one of just thirty of these highly limited edition tees now for $19.95 here, but hurry, I am sure dark forces are gathering as we speak, ready to snatch the lot for their next seance, accompanying music provided by Sabbath of course, so be there or be square, or do I mean pentagram? Available in black, black or black, as dark as the pits of a Film Noir hell, and in the demonic dimensions of Small to XXL. A curse will most likely be placed upon all those who fail to purchase one of these. Oh the horror of it all.
