Nestor from TolkyMonkys.com emailed us to tell Buy Tees they have a couple of new polo shirts for your delectation! We featured TM recently at this review, dishing out some of the best in off-the-wall and some might say crazy designs that all make sense when you view the whole collection. Comic cartoon style t-shirt designs with a growing cult following that are guaranteed to confuse, bemuse and enthuse young and old!

Expect more Spanish Pop Art madness from this bi-lingual t-shirt store, I love the fact that they’ve featured their new polos with a blog post entitled ‘New Polo Shirts For Good Looking Guys‘ – which makes me wonder what they do when an ugly mug turns up at the checkout? Maybe they should make a range specifically for those with less than good looks featuring slightly more gruesome characters just to balance things out :p

Air Dudes Polo

Available for men and women, the explanation for Air Dudes as with all of TM’s prints leaves me scratching my head, but who cares, it’s cool, it’s fun and superbly drawn. Apparently these balloonesque ghost-like characters are everywhere, the subway, the office, the street, you name it. But don’t worry they’re harmless according to TM, they’re just out for a good time, and oh yes, they need oxygen to survive and so this logic leads TM to the conclusion that they are most certainly alive. I know, there might be something lost in the translation there, but then again take a look at Salvador Dali, the guy made a sculpture by placing a lobster on a telephone for god’s sake. These are a batch of limited edition polo shirts (only 150 at the last count) and you can snatch one for yourself at ‚Ǩ30 each.

Saurio, The Dragon Thing Polo

Saurio, The Dragon Thing, has had a hard life. He’s lived in his lake for thousands of years, building up his rep as a mighty… thing, but these days he’s pestered by big ugly birds that insist on flapping around him day and night (such is the price of fame). I really would be surprised is this label doesn’t get its own syndicated Spanish TV series one day, I mean, it’s like trying to explain the deeper meaning of Pokemon, you either love it or you loathe it. It takes guts to step up to the mark and as the world waits and watches, talk gibberish and flash your bum, which creatively is what TM are all about. This polo tee is really cute, printed both sides and smart for the bonkers set out there. Just don’t analyse Tolky Monkys too much and you should be fine Get this limited edition polo for ‚Ǩ30 before all the loonys buy them all up!
