Papa’s Got A Brandneusense
Excuse the James Brown pun, I couldn’t resist it heh. Brandneusense is definitely one for the hardcore UK fashion lover, although they take international orders it’s a major coup for the Brits, why? Well first off half of the brands they sell are imports, so unless you want to tackle the strong dollar exchange, pay the shipping and a probably a little tax on top, take it from me, Brandneusense is the place to go.
Don’t think I’m saddling you with a bunch of square retailers either, the people behind the label love fashion to death, heck they even make it themselves, their own brand is as you can guess called Brandneusense, which stands up well against the competition on offer including some of the most popular t-shirt brands in the market such as Boxfresh, Dephect, House of the Gods, Joystick Junkies, Local Celebrity, and Religion as well as their own label of course.
BTW If you happen to be from somewhere other than Europe then don’t worry about extortionate shipping costs, Brandneusense have it covered. They offer worldwide shipping and offer an automatic 15% to all non-EU residents, it’s applied automatically when you enter your address at the checkout – smart thinking! They’re also always on the look out for new talent, so if you think you can make the grade and compete then contact them on +44 (0)845 618 5381 (local rates for UK) and have a chat!
More than shirts, they also have a wide range of apparel and accessories in stock, of course they deal with a whole range of clothing, but as usual, this is a t-shirt reviews blog so I’ll be focusing on what I love and know best, tees!
Belle T-Shirt by EIO
![]() |
![]() |
This is an extremely jazzy tee by EIO, their tees are usually a lot darker, grimmer, even Gothic than this snazzy number for all the ladies out there. It kind of reminds me of a few old Blondie t-shirts if the designer had popped a tab or two of acid before they got to printing it. I suspect their isn’t a famous face involved in this print, which is a refreshing change to be honest. I am always a sucker for psychedelic colour combos and the EIO Belle tee (£25) at Brandneusense definitely doesn’t hold back on that count. Great summer tee for all the funky women out there who fancy dazzling on the beach or at the club.
Angel Wings T-Shirt by Brandneusense
![]() |
![]() |
I’d say this is their strongest home grown tee right now, I was surprised Angel Wings wasn’t available for women as the ice blue cotton and pastel coloured print lends itself far more to the female t-shirt market, but I am sure there are plans afoot to offer an alternative in the near future. This must be one of the most subtle logo placements I’ve ever seen, their familiar lightning strike hangs as a tag from the zipper. I also appreciate the play on the idea of the “old school” mentality, i.e literally straight out of school and with an attitude. It’s more Grange Hill than Cypress Hill and that for me offers no end of amusement, I’m hoping that Brandneusense will take this direction to the enth degree, it’s almost as if they’ve managed to combine school disco with hip hop. Snazzy, but perhaps something darker for the lads is probably needed here. Only £15 incl. VAT btw!
Loloba Fitted Tee by Bench
![]() |
I wish that Brandneusense would offer up larger images at their store, it would be really nice to show you some detailed shots of this tee, the fact is it’s a beauty, Loloba (fitted tee – grey) by Bench is a true example of one of my favourite kinds of scrawling, biro art. It’s been printed to feel like leather to the touch which sounds kind of weird but definitely enticing. I love this sort of art, it reminds me a lot of graffiti sketchbooks that get passed around these days, little black books filled with the visual meanderings of graffito masters at work. Definitely for keeps, this tee has a totally solid slant on the scene. Oh, it’s just £20 incl. Vat!
Megabot Tee by Dephect

I know, I know, I’m always harping on about robots, I suppose it’s some kind of mental fixation, something that started in childhood, who knows I probably grew up thinking we’d all be living on the moon by now. Anyway here’s another robot tee for ya… yeah! It’s the Megatron tee by Dephect, totally kewl, totally bizarre, as the peeps at Brandneusense have said, it’s probably swearing its head off – in Chinese. Who can read Chinese – tell me what it says and win… well nothing much, just the honour of being a little smarter than the rest of us. I don’t really care what it’s saying, unless it’s something like “I am a Western turd kick me in the nuts”, which I’m sure it doesn’t. Anyway, get it for 27 squid at Brandneusense and buy me another for Crimbo.
Rozzers Tee by Negrete
![]() |
This hilarious shirt by Negrete is called Rozzers, if you’re wondering what the hell that means you’re definitely not from the UK, it’s one of many many colloquial terms we Brits have for the police. To “Rozz” was slang for to roast in the East End of London, it’s probably one of the nicer ones out there hah. Negrete teamed up with artist and p/t super hero(?) Famous When Dead to shake an imaginary fist at the bully boy tactics of the English police in this design, superb sense of humour, looks like an authentic stencil too. Available in white for £24.95 incl. VAT.
Take a gander at heaps more everything at Brandneusense it’s certainly a great hub for all the coolest street labels on offer, plus, hey, you might even get a chance to join the ranks of the exalted (if you can draw) :p
