Hey would you like to be a star? OK maybe that’s rather an over-exaggeration but I do promise you a crack at a (t-shirt) modelling career or rather the people behind the Abstraction Dirt fashion label do! Dirt offer some great t-shirt designs, we featured their anniversary design last year and we even got an invite to the big celebration but we couldn’t afford the airfare :/ If you’d like to be the next new face of Dirt’s simply send them your latest comp card (that’s a composite card if you’re already lost – if you are I don’t know if you’ll have much luck with this!) and keep your fingers crossed and hopefully you’ll receive a call. Anyway email your comp card to Critty and who knows you may just be the next new face of Dirt ;p

To be realistic Dirt are based in Detroit Michigan so if you can’t get there I don’t know how much chance you’ll have of becoming their next top model, which I’m sure rules out most of the world, still if you can and you’ve got a decent photograph of yourself for a comp card then why not give it a try, who knows you might actually get paid for wearing cool t-shirts!

Here’s a few of their 2008 designs just to warm you up and yes this is the sort of gear that they’ll expect one lucky and most probably extremely attractive human being to model for them.

The Dirt Gang T-Shirt features a multi-colour print of various Dirt Label Designs, incorporated as tattoo motifs over two wrestling arms. The back features “DIRT PUNK CLUB RULES” for the Club. This shirt also features the “Dirt Label” by John St. John emblem printed on the side of the left sleeve, both of which are distressed as is the neck. Made of 100% fine soft ring-spun cotton and available in black. The first rule of Dirt Punk Club is there are no rules, well actually there seem to be quite a few but I’m sure they make exceptions.

The Dirt Punk Club T-Shirt features a multi-colour print on both the front and back, embedded with over 300 hand set Swarovski crystals. This shirt again features the ‚ÄúDirt Label‚Äù by John St. John emblem printed on the side of the left sleeve. Made from 100% fine ring-spun combed cotton this light weight fine jersey knit shirt is exceptionally smooth and its tight knit gives makes it as opaque as any heavier fabric. This shirt is available in Red Acid Wash & Black. Please don’t tell me braces / suspenders are back in – I mean we Brits love suspenders – but only on women and they’re not for keeping trousers up heh.

Just when you thought it was all about fighting punks and bikers Abstraction Dirt hit us with The Tree of Wisdom T-Shirt which I have to say is mighty stylish, it manages not to fall into the corny hippie camp and I particularly like the line quality of the tree trunk. Sharp. Tree of Wisdom shirt features a multi-coloured print on the front and also features the ‚ÄúDirt Label‚Äù by Johns St. John emblem printed on the side of the left sleeve and comes in white and natural. We can all do with a little more wisdom, shame it doesn’t grow on trees

But for us mere mortals with par average facial features, we will all have to wait until April to see exactly what they’ve come up with, should be worth the wait though.
