Now I know what you’re thinking, if geeks fall in love they may copulate and before you know it they’ll be breeding like mechanical rabbits, and then the world will be filled with geeks and anyone who isn’t up to scratch on their math and programming skills will probably be culled in some sci-fi style mass execution √† la Carousel from Logan’s Run.

Then again you’d have to be a little bit of a geek (and an old one) to think that anyway. It’s probably all to do with obsessive logical progression, i.e what if this, that and the other, and so on and so on. I’m sure most people would fall asleep halfway through that particular conspiracy theory anyway.
