Tripping out at Psywear.com
Now, I am one of those old geezers who’s done everything under the sun and lived to tell the tale. Let’s just say I have had my fair share of intoxicants and intoxicated experiences, and some wonderful memories for the knapsack that is my brain, I’m sure I’ll suffer for it in later life (but who really wants to live an aeon in these troubled times?). Still, something more concrete I can look back on (as in not mere imagination or delusion) are my tattered old tees that even if they were in a wearable state, I’d dare not wear now. Smoking Buddhas, psychedelic vortices, groovy, weird, and rather overpowering designs related to all aspects of past and buried trends, scenes, happenings, what have you. But if i could get away with it I would, which is why I’m tripping on nostalgia when I look at the fractal chaos that is Psywear’s t-shirt collection.
Hence, it’s with some cheer that I venture forth into this review of the crazy mind-melding images emblazoned on each and every offering at the fabulous Psywear range at Psywear.com and the head shop outlet at Bolinat.com (what does Bolinat mean – anyone?). Psywear offer men’s and women’s t shirts and tanktops, with tribal designs and psychedelic fractal art, made of heavy weight (30/1) 100% combed cotton, that is fabricated, coloured and tailored in Israel. All their psychedelic tribal print tees are printed with up to 4 million colours to guarantee that no matter how much you stare you won’t stop ‘tunnelling’.
There’s little more to say regarding their mind-boggling tees, except that you should most probably need to be under the influence, (or have taken something naughty in the past) to know where they’re coming from, although I can tell where these two are most likely going, to outer space, far, far off, somewhere near the Pleiades Cluster most likely. These two are from the ‘Fractal Alien‘ range.
I’ve heard of Stormtroopers, but this is a new one on me, ‘Windtrooper‘ is another trip-fest for all you jelly heads out there, a particularly groovy vortex with a tribal motif. I particularly like the black version, it reminds me of a few Aborigine sand paintings I’ve seen in my time.
Here’s a couple more Psywear tees at Bolinat.com that caught my eye. Psycodelic Fractals and Play Design.
