Abstraction Fashion – Dirt Label’s Anniversary T-Shirt
I have just received a quick message from the infamous ‘Critty’ of the Detroit based clothing company Abstraction Fashion (aka Dirt) who wanted you all to know about their latest news, they are offering just 20 limited edition tees to commemorate their one year celebration this Saturday. To be honest I can find very little about them, but I did like this t-shirt design so I thought it deserved a mention. Maybe you can work out what’s going on for yourselves at their blog. I’m assuming the online store is all cleared out for the move (they do mainly sell via stores though). I did read an article scanned from a Detroit newspaper (Detroit Free Press) at Critty’s Myspace, but apart from that I haven’t much to go on. Their work is influenced by (now deceased) biker’s clubs logos, Still a party is a party, now if someone could pay my airfare to Detroit I’ll be set :0
Each shirt comes numbered and signed with the DIRT LABEL seal of approval. Don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of (their) history.
Dirt mainly sell their t-shirts at stores and offer a catalogue for download (awaiting link) where you can see plenty more on offer.
There’s not much going on at their site http://www.abstractiondirt.com/ but you can buy your anniversary tee now (men’s only) for $35 from their online store at http://abstractiondirt.bigcartel.com

The above is one of their past tees, nice! Shame they don’t have a store online to buy all their tees, however they do sell them across Michigan and are expanding into Atlanta. Critty has created a t-shirt line that he says, “screams independence. Bold, Daring and Aggressive, our innovative designs appeal to those who strive to be different. Individuals who wear the abstraction insignia embody a vision of life with no boundaries.”
Sean, Critty’s right hand man, says, “its inspired by the rugged image of fight clubs”.
Keeping up says, “congrats on making the list for Young and Keeping Up and the Bad Boy image is hot!”

As for the party if you’re in the neighbourhood get on down to the Woodward Restaurant (inside/outside) in downtown Detroit, USA and help their celebrations – you can buy advanced tickets at www.neptix.com. They are shutting down their base of operations at Woodward Avenue and moving on to bigger and better things. Once piece of advice for Critty and his mates, you all seem to be having a great time over there, but maybe you guys could organise that store (in between your club nights) so the rest of us (in the world) can get a piece of the action – heh.

I am interested in maybe getting some of your shirts wholesale. You had sent me shirts before for my son to the store. “Santanas Town” I just came across them. Juelz Santana from Def Jam Records is my son.
Thank You
