It seems that the woman who has everything has found a new cause for her collection, the anti-free t-shirts movement seems to be aimed at a specific minority of jet setters and Hollywood hoi polloi with the sole motive of bringing attention to the possibility of poisonous terrorist t-shirts infecting her home.

It seems if you don’t the woman personally you can’t give her anything for free, perhaps it’s toxic, or actually a very small bomb, or covered with invisible razor blades, but you won’t know because you’re not an ambassador to the world with more money than you know what to do with and a husband that doesn’t just look like Brad Pitt, but is Brad Pitt. I’m sure there are plenty of women out there right now gnashing their teeth and flexing their nails at the latest report from La La Land where one of the highest grossing actresses in Hollywood is causing a stir by refusing all gifts from the fashion industry.

According to sources at Celebuzz.com “Angelina returned the clothes with a nice thank-you note. But she made it clear she could not accept the gift, as she didn’t know exactly who sent them.” As CB points out, she’s reaching her own Defcon 1, an all out war on anyone who doesn’t know here incase they represent a threat, be it terrorist or otherwise.

It’s a ridiculous scenario when the most beautiful woman in the world (according to the media) feels she can stop the world from turning simply because she’s not in the mood. If they’re giving merchandise away, why doesn’t she write a footnote mentioning her favourite charities and where the clothes can be sent? Because she knows that unless there’s a chance that someone in her family wears the stuff no t-shirts will be sent anywhere. Angelina has played the publicity game like a poker pro until now. She was Lara Croft, she stole the hearts of millions of geeks before stealing Jennifer Anniston’s husband, she’s carved out a career as a celebrity diplomat, and even stuck up for the Bush administration on occasion, she is working it. I am sure if the tables were reversed and Obama was in power she’d reverse her argument for the Surge, but who knows, maybe she really is a hardline Republican, maybe she really does believe that her mailman is actually one of Bin Laden’s agents. I do wonder if all those action movies may have gone to her head though?
