American Pi T-Shirt…
May 20, 2008
At last a new Buy-Tees.net t-shirt! I’ve become so hooked on blogging and all it entails, plus with the debacle with SpreadShirt.net I’ve been forced to hold back on the tee shirt designs for a while, but even though it’s still being submitted to Spreadshirt (I’m hoping both sites will accept this one!), I’ve made sure you can buy it from both CafePress.com and RedBubble.com - the screen-printed versions should be available soon (fingers crossed :p)

Omg SpreadShirt.NET are driving me crazy!!

First they ask me to make layers, then they want me to ‘interleave’ the shapes, now they want the former with a solid background.
SpreadShirt.net must have the most confusing submissions program for just about anything in the world!
Here’s what they’re saying now - I’ll point out that I did increase the borders to every shape in the design to 2.0mm (took me days!) Read more
Epidemic T-Shirt by Linty Tees
May 19, 2008
I love doodles, I’m not a great doodler myself, I suppose I like to refine the image and boil it down to its bare necessities, to be honest I don’t boil as much as I should with my iconography, but I do with the succinctness of the idea. It seems that the more t-shirts I find, the more I feel I have my own unique style and approach to t-shirt artwork. Most of my designs have some form of message or play on words, a simple subtext if you like, it is probably a habit I picked up at art college, but I’m glad I did. Read more
Awaiting results from SpreadShirt.net
May 18, 2008
I have to admit it I’m surprised to receive the support I have had so far from the “SpreadShirt Service”, in truth I find the support for designers at CafePress.com rather substandard and impersonal, however after a few days delay I’ve had communications with a couple of real people from the company regarding the strange and so far ongoing saga of my first vector image submission to both SpreadShirt.com and SpreadShirt.net so I can offer cheaper shipping via both continents. Fantastic Bonanza - Fantastic T-Shirts!
May 18, 2008
There’s a limited (let’s call it exclusive :)) but highly desirable t shirt collection at FantasticBonanza.com that will blow your socks off. I came across the site by chance so I’m sure they’ll appreciate some more visitors, well worth a visit if you’re looking for something a little different (actually completely different!). Read more

Zombie T-Shirts - for people with brainsssss…
May 17, 2008
Do you love zombies? I mean in a purely platonic fashion of course! Ever since I first saw Dawn of the Dead (The original George A. Romero production - not that awful remake), I was hooked in, it just seemed more feasible at the time, what with all the talk of genetics on the horizon, biological warfare, what have you. What didn’t make sense was a rather fay gentleman biting ladies on the neck with fangs that his dentist must surely have noticed, even if no one else ever did. Read more
Smurfs Attack - Old School Toon Tee Shirt
May 17, 2008
This is Smurfs Attack available at SplitReason.com
Split Reason has been around since 2003, however they seem to have steered more and more towards the tried and tested popularity vote system you can find at Threadless and many other similar t-shirt designer sites. (I have a problem as a designer with this format - it seems rely on a more throwaway attitude towards new designers - popularity is viral, not dependent on the votes of competitors and anonymous surfers - oh well - my five cents.) Racist T-Shirts: Obama Protests - Curious George Litigation
May 17, 2008
There’s one t-shirt designer on the planet facing possible litigation like we’ve never seen before. Forget dodgy unlicensed movie and band tees, forget T-Shirt Hell, this is probably the dumbest idea anyone ever had. “I know, I will openly slur a potential Presidential candidate with racist dogma, and bring down the might of Houghton Mifflin’s legal team over copyright infringement.” A racist and incompetent in the legal ramifications of intellectual copyright, bar owner Mike Norman has been selling his wares at his bar. Fair Trade Eco T-Shirts - a designers’ dilemma
May 13, 2008
There’s a moral obligation for all t-shirt designers to try and pressure the industry, alongside the consumer, to practice business more ethically. This for me is a completely different argument to judging the conditions of the Third World from a First World perspective. Here the only people who we can blame are the t-shirt printers and textile industries of the West, which is fine and dandy with me! Read more
