I spoke too soon - SpreadShirt.com comes through!
May 9, 2008
Continuing on the Spread Shirt Saga from my previous post “SpreadShirt Blues” - we delve deeper into the mysteries of their vector design submission process. I’ll collate some of the information I’ve had and write an article on submitting to Spread Shirt in the very near future. For now I must work out the vagaries and mysteries of the European arm of Spread shirt. It seems they are working to completely different rules. How would I know?
Well… I have just had my first vector design accepted for flock printed t-shirts at my American Spread Shirt store. (Hooray!)
I’ll be featuring the design in the Buy Tees Store as soon as I have fathomed the strange and rather annoying submission process at Spreadshirt.net :/

A little more news, it seems that the 2.0mm “shift” is a standard response from their autoresponder. I can only imagine I uploaded the wrong version - I was advised to upload cs2 illustrator eps however I am sure I uploaded a cs3 version for SpreadShirt.com - it’s just a process of trial an error I’m sure… if that’s not the problem I can only imagine that the reviewer was having an off day. More on this soon.
I really must start working on the Spread Shirt site templates to try and match my blog (css gives me a headache). Let’s hope I’ll have time to soon!
