American Pi T-Shirt…

At last a new Buy-Tees.net t-shirt! I’ve become so hooked on blogging and all it entails, plus with the debacle with SpreadShirt.net I’ve been forced to hold back on the tee shirt designs for a while, but even though it’s still being submitted to Spreadshirt (I’m hoping both sites will accept this one!), I’ve made sure you can buy it from both CafePress.com and RedBubble.com - the screen-printed versions should be available soon (fingers crossed :p)

American Pi T-Shirt

American Pi came to me whilst I was working on another t-shirt submission to the dreaded SpreadShirt.net submissions service. The image is rather straight forward, the references range from ideas as disparate as the declining USA (and therefore world) economy, the new faith in science and number (I was wondering the other day if history will view our age as ideologically fanatical as many of our predecessors, times of bloody religious war, greed, conflict, sounds familiar?), the recent reference by Obama to 57 states and just how much I suck at maths myself, and of course all those other “pi” t-shirt designs out there that really could do with an update.

I suppose it would’ve been more timely to have launched it on the same day that “American Pie” the movie was released, or perhaps the day that Don McLean’s single “American Pie” hit the charts, but I don’t have a time machine, only the pointless gift of hindsight which seems to exist only to chide those too slow on the uptake, myself included.
